I love the selection on iTunes and the fact that I can download virtually anything to my computer and keep it. I love to upload my music so I can have it at my call to listen to easily with the click of a button, whenever I want.

RabidChihuahua posted a Quick Tip about Steam.
October 01, 2011
I think Steam is one of the best thing ever made for PC gamers. Installation and registration to Steam is free, and there's frequent sales for games. There's a HUGE selection of games to choose from, so there's something for every type of gamer. Best of all, Steam's servers store your gameplay progress, so if something really bad happens to your computer, your games won't be lost, … more
When it comes to Sony's latest gaming console, I've had a really funny history with it. At the time the PlayStation 3 was released (November of 2006), I just got an Xbox 360 and whenever I saw commercials for the PS3, I would laugh and say “Whose gonna spend $600 on that?!!” As the months went by, I noticed many gamers weren't satisfied with the PS3, and in sales, … more
While shopping for a new receiver, I could have made my search even easier had I started by looking at the iOS apps which work with the different brands. As luck would have it, the best AV Receiver App is oRemote for Onkyo, which just so happens to work perfectly with my my recently reviewed HT-RC360. More specifically, it's about to pending the next release of oRemote … more
I have been a long time Yamaha Receiver customer, but after my beloved RX-v1800 succumbed to an unfortunate electrical spike, I felt it was time to revisit the market and see what other offerings were out there. I originally extended my search to Yamaha, Pioneer and Denon, but a ridiculous deal at Fry's forced my hand to investigate the Onkyo HT-RC360. Only 2 months … more
Pretty much everyone is familiar with the idea of using a surge protector to protect your computer and monitor from unexpected electrical forces. While more and more people are now finding ways to wall-mount their fancy new LCD and plasma TV's, I would guess a very small percentage of them are taking the same precautions to protect their TV from electrical surges. Until recently, I … more
It's going to happen. Hard drives fail, and when they fail you will lose data. Computers have been around long enough that we can't pretend that hardware lasts forever. By now, most everyone is aware of this fact, and some have even taken the first step to preventing data loss by using an external hard drive... but this still requires planning, scheduling, and evolving as … more
I've already shared my thoughts on the Xbox Kinect as well as my affinity towards Monoprice for cheap cables, so when I realized that I was going to need a longer cable to connect my Kinect sensor in the front room to the Xbox in the back closet where all my components are kept, Monoprice was the first place I checked. Before I got the Kinect, I had already run two 16ft … more

I generally shy away from extended warranties, but AppleCare has saved me a ton of cash on two occasions. You can also get a better deal if you buy the warranty from Amazon.com

TeamAWAC posted a Quick Tip about XBMC.
January 21, 2011
The XBMC group has just announced a release of their software that will run on all [jailbroken] iOS devices. The already awesome AppleTV just cranked the volume up to 11!
Looks like with the new iOS 4.2 release, you can stream Pandora audio to the Apple TV directly from the Pandora App. Now we just need a native Pandora App on the AppleTV!
Due to the Logitech Harmony 700's embarrassing limitation of only controlling 6 devices, the Harmony 900 is an almost mandatory step-up. The RF extender is nice bonus for components hidden behind cabinets or in a different room, but I'm still not a huge fan of the touchscreen display up top. It would also be really nice if you could customize the icons on the display.
Due to a promotion offered by Wal-Mart, I recently became interested in VUDU's online movie streaming service. The deal was if you purchased the Toy Story 3 BluRay disk from Wal-Mart, you would get a free copy to include in your VUDU library to stream whenever you wanted. Unfortunately, I never got the deal to work out, but I was still intrigued by the VUDU service. … more

The Apple TV (second generation) was released last week, and like the dutiful Apple Fan Boy that I am, I picked mine up as soon as it appeared in the Apple Store. After a full weekend of playing with the device, I'm still somewhat conflicted as to whether or not I would recommend it others. The truth is... it depends... Judge a book by it's cover? … more

I think you'll want an HDMI splitter if you want to have both the projector and the lcd display to receive the HDMI signal at the same time. This might help too! http://www.life123.com/technology/home-electronics/blu-ray … more
